So, this is my first post, hoping a few others will join.
6 months we have been working on this, and maybe, just maybe it will work.
Nervous for glitches and issues.
So many have asked for a way to comment on videos and get more involved we thought why not give it a go.
Hope everyone likes it, suggestions on the support section, likes, dislikes.....
Either way WELCOME everyone, please play nice,:D

Giles, thank you for Airgun101 and now a forum where we can all converse! If any glitches come up that’s just part of running a website/forum. And I get you on nerves.... I photograph real estate for a living and with everything going on the trend is going to virtual tours via video. I’m a stills guy, not a video guy, this is going to be a whole new learning experience and I’m kind of a perfectionist so the nerves are there for sure. Anyways, we’re more than thankful for a place we can surf around that embraces the sport we all have a passion for!

Hi all, I'm new to the air gun world, been watching loads of videos from air gun gear show, and all the other usual suspects. Giles I love your videos they are so funny and informative.
I have a new pcp set up on order but dont know when I will be able to collect with what's going on with the covid 19 lock down. Had a call today about my order, the brocock compatto mk2 that I order is no longer made ? but on a plus note the shop I've ordered from is going to supply me with the new compatto xr at no extra charge?.
Any way hope this is the start to a great time with my rifle. Any advice and or help would be much appreciated. Much love Pinky.

@Zpinksta - The Compatto is a great rifle and you will enjoy yourself. Best advice is use a good pellet, like the FX Branded ones or the JSB's - pellet choice is super important. Also take your time picking a scope, one that pops to your eye and feels comfortable. Welcome to the world if Airguns, much to learn and loads to enjoy. G.

Hey Giles and all the 101 gang.

Thanks for taking the time to bring this forum to life, a challenging process I’m sure.

You have our attention here in Australia and I’m really looking forward to learning and sharing any tricks and traps.

My buddy and I have bought an FX Impact Mk2 each in .22, .25 and .30 and have slug liners for the two larger calibers.

We have no slugs available in Australia yet but I guess they might show their head about the time we are looking for new challenges.

Let’s protect our beloved Joe. His videos of what people say to him are hilarious but I think he’s a top Fella.

Crash You have very strict rules on ammo in Aus from what I understand, other wise you could easily have them shipped in. If you have a license can you buy online?
Joe is a scream, a really nice Guy......he makes me laugh with many of his comments and quips in video's.

Giles, I think we can with slugs/pellets at this point.
There is a grey area in our regulations that hasn’t kept pace with pcp advances.

We can’t drive with cartridge ammunition just sitting in our car not locked up but pellets/slugs aren’t considered.

To buy JSB Hades here in Victoria, I had to contact the Australian importer and had 5000 couriered to me from 450 km away.

I will wait until things settle down a little and might try and order some from you along with some turret stickers which I have previously queried with your Sam.

I can supply a gun license for file.

Regards
Crash

I knew you were clever Giles. I went through two marriages while working out that I’m only perfect while living single✊??✌️?

Giles,

Thank you for all you have been doing for this community. Even though I am a relative newcomer (Returning consumer?) to airguns, I was enjoying content created by you and many others on this site (and several others). My enjoyment with airguns was re-ignited and I am thoroughly enjoying my return to the sport.

Kudos on your work! You may not realize, but you helped me find my new enjoyment (FX Dreamlite .25cal) coupled with the FX chronograph. Probably two of the best additions to my arsenal, and with some caliber change kits in my future, very versatile tools.

Best regards,
Bill

Hi Giles and all out there..
Greetings from Darkest Africa ;)
I'm fairly new to the PCP world but have been shooting most of my life, and was keen to try PCP's so I bought a Kral Mega
.22 at the end of last year. Loving the rifle but finding time to shoot with the global "challenge" is frustrating to say the least!
looking forward to the chats and hopefully some good info sharing!
Take care
