does anybody know if you can run a nomad 2 from say a fused cable of a large enough gauge thats would be permenantly connected to your car battery and ran to your boot? im a wheelchair user and i would definatly find it easier to direct fill my redwolf using something like a nomad but i really would like to avoid having to pop my bonnet up everytime i need to refill and connect to a battery

I went to a commercial car store showed them the compressor and the details and then used the correct rated wire. Ran that straight off the battery as would not advise running through the car electrics. ALWAYS check what your doing with someone qualified - it is a tricky thing - don't damage the car or the electrics or the compressor and be mindful of heat.

BUT the best way would be to use a good carbon bottle - get a small home compressor, then its way way quicker to fill from the boot, the bottle is not heavy so can be easily moved, plus with a home setup its far easier to manage and quicker. Will cost few more pennies but way way simpler.

Over all, before you do anything clever with the wires get advise and get it checked for safety.

Thanks for the quick response, what type of small compressor would you reccomend? I see alot of reviews about these yong heng compressors , people using them to fill 3 litre bottles

Hello dye, i did buy a yong heng and i am very impressed with it so far , have had it three months and used it plenty of times, i use a airmega filter that has the decescant inside and also fit the factory filter to it just for a bit more protection, like yourself i change the oil frequently and the 'tampons' inside both filters
