What is "NEW" about the 'NEW' Benjamin Marauder Semi-Auto (SAM) 'Full Review' by Airgun Detectives?
If memory serves me correctly the SAM has been around for a few years and it went down as an 'also-ran' which was unfortunate because it was pretty innovative being it was semi-auto and a proven platform.
The video shows it shooting the .22 caliber 18gr in the mid to high 700's which I think is rather weak compared to my Marauder Gen ll which is about 5 years old now which shoots the H&N Baracuda Hunter Hunter 18 gr at 880 Avg 10 shots. With 5 shots 887 Avg. FPE is 30-31 Stdev 9.6.. Start fill is 2600. End fill is 2200 with 3 Mags + -.
As much as I like the Semi Auto feature it was not enough to sway me to getting a SAM back then and now.
