Hi points of aim!
You make a very interesting point in relation to uk sub 12 fp videos!
A lot of videos are aimed at (no pun intended) fac rated air guns especially in the larger calibres!
There’s tons of over 12 fp stuff out there and it’d be great to see what our stuff can do.
Especially in the larger calibres at sub 12!
And proving big bore stuff can work at lower power levels, even just for a giggle!
Thanks
Mick.

I think that the problem here is that most of the innovation and most of the currently exciting stuff is for the over-12 ft lb market. I have to admit that I no longer even watch the slug reviews because they are never going to be any good at sub-12 unless JSB can make one at 5 grain in .177.

I understand in what your saying, but thats the point.most of us watch the high power , long distance shots, good stuff. Its sad the sub12ft lb shots will die out . not everyone has fac in the u.k. or the space/ area to shoot in.it will soon be a boring uk versus the high power lot.i know giles has put hard work into 101.can 101 pick a few sub 12 from you tube..best of a pick..maybe ?

Not saying that I don't watch the content at all, just slug reviews. The guns are still really interesting, as are the hunting clips, and good shooting at sub-12 is as impressive to a newbie like me as someone taking shots at two hundred yards.

Actually I'd probably go further. Anyone getting groups at any distance over 40m with a sub-12 is doing more with their combo and showing greater skill than someone doing the same at 100+m with an FAC. I have more to learn from these chaps than I do from someone shooting one inch groups at a quarter kilometre with a Texan .50.
But big guns are cool, so I watch them too.

Maybe so.but 100 yards with any rifle is not so simple.40 yards with a modern pcp 12ft lb is not so hard indoors..outdoors..even 25 yards can be difficult.thanks for the feedback and thought.

its a tough one, sub 12 is great, i love using my sub 12, but from a views point of view as a creator, they never do as well as fac etc... i do however try to do as much as i can sub 12, the airgun depot golf ball challenge being one example.
with that said, there's a sub 12 section on here though
if it's content that people want to see, and ask for, i'm sure more will cover it...

If you want good sub 12 shooting come to my local club Rifleman firearms we do competitions all the time for different disciplines. We even did a 100 yard sub 12 shoot last year ? its an air rifle only range and I whole heartedly don't think there is anywhere else in the uk that competes with that place.
I've been doing long ramge (90yard×) sub 12 shooting for over a year now and can get sub moa group at 100 yards on a still day with my dreamline.
