Just a link to a YouTube review I did on my Crosman 2240, one of my favorite air pistols.

Do they all make that noise when you open the box?
This is something I would love to try, but in the UK, its probably illegal due to the power and length.

Out of the box, or plastic over wrap so to speak, it is a less powerful pistol. I’ve modded my valve and all the ports for increased CO2 output. Actually it discharges a lot of gas even after the pellet has left the barrel. Debated many times about putting a longer barrel on it. New, I’d say with lead pellets it’s under 12 fpe. Super accurate pistol.

Forgot to mention my current barrel is longer than stock but Crosman makes barrels much longer than what I have. I’m only guessing, but stock I don’t think length would be an issue.

It was the sound effect on opening the box that made me smile.
Longer barrel will give more power, without doubt. Our law is 6ft lbs with a pistol, or anything with a barrel less than 30cm or overall length go 60cm.

The sound effect! Forgot about putting that in there. It was mainly because of all the time/money/effort I put into it. I did replace the hammer spring with a heavier one so that is definitely a factor.

Yep, might have to look at that after the virus passes. A little experimentation never hurt anyone. Not knowing, but can it be converted to PCP? Or is it just too small?
