First post so I thought I may as well make it about my MK2 Impact. I've had the gun (sub 12, 0.22) for just over 2 years but for a variety of reasons it's had very little use. I find myself with more time on my hands now so I've been trying to use it for but every time I pick it up there's something else wrong with it - I really want to like the gun but it's unreliability is making it hard to love.
The current problem I'm grappling with is a sudden power loss. I've just replaced the standard regulator with a Huma Air one (which is great) but after only approx 100 shots I lost all power to the point where I've got two pellets stuck in the barrel, the pellets I'll deal with later. My main problem relates to the power loss. After a bit of searching it appears it could be a problem with the C3 washer. I've watched a couple of very useful videos on how to replace it but my gun is sub 12 and doesn't appear to have the removable cover over the valve on the front face of the block (above the point where the air cylinder screws in). How do I get to the C3 to replace it? Or am I "barking up the wrong tree" about the C3 being the culprit?
