I'm a complete newbie myself but when it looked like the shops were going to get shut down I shelved my dreams of something sexy in walnut by Air Arms or Daystate (for reasons of cash flow) and bought an SMK Victory CP2. It's brilliant, you get a pistol and a rifle for the same money. As a pistol it's all you could ask for (similar to the classic Crosman rat popper) and it makes a great (if a tad low powered) rifle too. Couldn't recommend it any more highly, great fun and very economically priced at around £150~170 depending on vendor. Budet a few bob for a sight but it comes with built in adjustable iron sights which are perfectly adequate to start with.
(Also worth knowing is that TR Robb sell bits and bobs to up the power a bit, I have fitted just the stronger hammer spring and it really slaps the lead out, it took it from 8.5 ft lb up to just over 10, much more respectable. IF YOU DO THIS MAKE SURE YOU CAN CHRONO YOUR GUN, you could easily break the law this way. Also you have to swap springs if you want to use the pistol as it takes it to 7.5 ft lb, which is illegal, but it only takes five minutes)
Happy to answer any questions if you have any, great starter kit. Also have a look at Andy's review on Andy's Airgun Reviews (of this manor), he has a big grin on his face all through the vid.
(Edit: I should add that upping the power reduces the number of shots quite a bit, I was getting almost fifty accurate shots per 12g CO2 at 25m before but the stronger spring reduced that to 35 but increases accuracy and gives an additional 10m range. And the supplied sound moderator makes it really quiet, significantly helping in overcoming, how shall I put it, marital resistance )

Shina, I can recommend these sights:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0119E1HS4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Spot on for value and performance. Possibly you can get it at an even better price so have a look araound, also see the AAR review, lovely item for the money. It'd be decent at twice the price.

That's eight hundred without a sight, filling kit, moderator and slip/case though. The s510 is on my wants list but it's in the twelve hundred quid and over section...
