Bored at home during lock down. Wanted a cheap beater air rifle! Bought a cheap Crosman Blaze XT .177 cal and did some work. Did some stock work, custom stippling with a heat gun. Stained with walnut stain, custom trigger from AOA. The included scope 4x32mm went onto my sons little training plinker and I installed a Hawks 3-9x40mm, it gives nice crisp picture. Came out nice, cool little 30yrd fun plinker! Cleaned it up!

It groups ok, still working on it. At 33 yards I usually get 1.5in. No where near my high end rifles but I’m happy with it. I’m struggling with the trigger pull, even though I installed a AOA version of the Charlydatuna trigger now it’s much better...but still not great. Overall I’m happy. One thing I figured out though is that it likes heavy pellets...I get best results with Crosman 10.5gr brown box.

That looks really smart, great way to pass the time. How does it group?
