I have just watched Nate’s full review (Airgun Channel) on the new Barra Airguns 1866 Cowboy Series air rifle which he says is “one of the most authentically detailed replicas of the Henry type lever action rifles that won the West.”.
It is only shooting at inanimate objects (personally, I choose not to see quarry being shot) through open sights, but it is well worth taking a look at, if you want to see something a little different from the more high powered end of airguns shall we say.
Some might find the Barra 1866’s ‘gold’ detailing a bit blingy’ but I love it and this fully compliments the recorded speed, distance and accuracy of the .177 ammo (pellets or BBs) fired and especially slow-motion replays quite awesome and mesmerising to boot …
Does any one know of any gun shops that are selling these please? I have looked and cannot find any in our gun shops and the thing is, I haven’t had a holiday or a passport come to that in over 25 years ... anyone popping over to the States sometime, that could pick one up for me? … just a thought!
