Iv an HW110 FAC was shooting 28ftlb, 40 shots in the green, 20 fairly consistent shots in the yellow just below the 100 mark on the gauge before you noticed any real drop off, but after about 3 tins of pellets it lost half of it power, so I sent it away for repair.
4 months later iv got it back, shooting 28ftlb but only getting 20 shots in the green and as soon as it hits yellow (120) a noticeable drop-off, 1. have the even fixed the problem? or did they just screw something up to increase the power?.
It a fairly complicated purchase, the gun was bought off a dealer in Southern Ireland who bought it off a dealer in Northern Ireland and because it was a grey import said they sent it to a gunsmith in the UK for repair.

To be honest I have no idea, but I would be contacting Hull Cartridge Company UK importers and finding out what power it should be and shot count. Then if its not right ask them who they recommend service 9t. Sounds like something isn't right somewhere. Just searched the Web and in a review it says 30 to 31 fp and 30 very consistent shots, in another 37_38 shots at 25_27fp

4 months is a joke - it takes no longer than 30 mins to fully strip and rebuild a hw100- I had mine in bits so many times I have it down to an art.

I p'xed mine for an FX crown as tuning a HW100 is a nightmare and the Crown is a delight to tune

There is a good chance on your current tune you have a higher reg setting ( but you have no way to know) and a higher hammer setting (which you can't easily adjust)) - on a Crown this would be considered a bad tune.

I wouldn't go back - the Crown is in another league.

Also on the Crown 28FPE is considered an Efficient tune - more shots - it will easily go up to 43FPE

As I live in Northern Ireland also, I do know it’s a different story in relation to buying/selling gun between North and South. When I was after the Fx Crown Continuum their was a sort of gun dealer I was in talks with in the South and he explained how it would work. But I declined so as it didn’t feel right so I waited patiently for my local dealer here in the North to order me one. I wish I could give you advice and hope you get a resolution.
