Has anyone had any experience with something called a helliboard? from what i am reading it is a direct replacement for the gun control unit in daystate electronic air rifles, it has 12 different power settings( definatly designed for high power FAC ) apparently it would give the user the ability to find tune there pulsar, redwolf, renegade etc electronically in the same way fx owners can with there rifles mechanically, so just want to know if anyone knows much about one?

Never fitted one, but I know they exist. Heard great things about power settings being improved, and it's cheaper than a programmer. Am not even sure where to get one, and of course have to point out warranty being voided. My thought would be stick with the programmer that's official, at least you get some support or fall back if you get stuck....but then can also see the excitement in modding with a heliboard.

Just found put that they are made buy some chap from greece, judging by the response from some of the guys on other forums, this helliboard seems to be a seriously good bit of kit and gives the oem board that daystate fit a serious run for its money, obviously your damn right when it comes to warrenty but on a out of warrenty rifle i think it could be a interesting bit of kit

I wish I knew about them when the circuit board failed in my Airwolf. Half the cost.
I been playing with the helliboard recently , the 12 power settings are pretty well set up in there " factory" settings im getting 16 ftlbs on power setting one, right up to a collossal 66 ftlbs on power settings 11,12.
It works by something called R values, each R value corrosponds to each shots feet per second and so to cut a long story short you can pre programme each R value to either raise or lower the feet per second of INDIVIDUAL shots ! Its absolutly brilliant ! If your shooting say a .25 cal 25 grain jsb and you want to keep it to as nearest damn it 940fps across the shot string you just simply adjust each R value of each shot and hey presto.
It really boggles me why daystate didnt buy the rights to this several years ago when it was first developed

Brand new member here, I hope this isn't breaking any rules but I would like to purchase a Heli board. Where can I find the information to order one from? Also if I buy a red wolf hp can I turn the power down enough to qualify to shoot in a 12 ftlb silo match? I'm getting a Red Wolf .22 in the next week or so and I would like the HP version but want to shoot in the open classes but would like to turn it up for long range shooting too.
