Does anyone have any information on how well the Hastan Hydra does on a range at 50 - 100 yards. Seems to be a nice rifle to have with being able to change out the barrels from .177, .22, .25 cal.

Morning - the only test I have seen so far is from Tyler at Pyramyd Air - https://www.pyramydair.com

I did see one at the Shot Show in January, and is a clever way to change calibers. Unsure it will be equal to a FX or Daystate / Air Arms - etc past 50 yards, I don't think that's what Hatsan are trying to achieve, but by what Tyler shows it seems sub 50 yards it's a little cracker.

Thanks for the information. I know it's still new to the market, they are selling a lot of them .
This isn't direct feedback about the Hatsan Hydra, but. . . I have a Hatsan AT-44 QE Long and a 125 vortex, both .22. Pretty accurate and I'm always impressed by how hard-hitting the 125 vortex is. My current go-to is the AT-44, which demands attention from the Prairie dogs it educates, as they are of the 75 yards and above species. and I must say they're very good students. :) I hope this helps...

Nobudyin Particular Thanks for the information that you given. I also have the Hatsan AT-44 QE long and it is one of the best rifles to have in your collection. I shoot well over 100 yards and it does very well. Since a lot of the Hydras are being sold I was just wondering how others felt about how well they are doing. I enjoy most of my rifles shooting out at 100 yards at least. Thanks again and take care.
Reading complaints by airgunners how some makes of airguns are fragile and the slightest bump can change the POI. I have to give credit where due. That's with my example of the Hatsan AT-44 model series. I don't baby it, almost every time I retrieve it from its home in my service van, pulling it from under winter clothes, some times a DEWALT or jug of water that has settled into its found space while I drive. Its long barrel bumping into the dash or steering wheel as I begin another session of teaching. The Hatsan AT-44 has always remained unaffected by the bumps knocks and delivers its educational material accurately. (as it and all should do) . Teach you ask?
an endless supply of students eager to learn.
