Dear Giles & members

Today I decided on giving my continuum 700mm barrel a clean using the .22 cleaning pellets. So I placed one in an fired it into padding, so I could possibly check the pellet afterwards to see how much residue was actually in the barrel. This would be the first time it’s been cleaned after less than 100 pellets since new. I couldn’t find the remains of the pellet the cotton must of just evaporated. So I took the barrel of just to check if the cleaning pellet was still lodge in the barrel. Nope all clear but what I did notice on my white cleaning table bench was a small o-ring about 5.20mm and I’m worried/confused to where it might of came from inside my continuum as I don’t want to fire it again in case I do internal damage.
Could anyone advise me to where they think it has came from and how it has possibly happened.
I’ll answer replies asap and thank you for reading my enquiry

Problem solved with a lot of relief, the o-ring seal actually came off one of the fx magazines. I believe the same sort of sized o-ring seal is also used internally in the fx crown. This o-ring must act as a rubber between the magazine and block to keep it in a firm placement in some ways. So if anyone ever finds a 5.20mm o-ring check your magazines first.
Here is a picture of both magazines side by side. I’ll likely use a pinhead of gorilla glue to keep it in place.

you might need to loosen the barrel on the block and pull it forward about 1mm or so, so that the magazine goes in and out fairly easy.

i had this same problem and getting the barrel exactly in the right position fixed it.
