hello everyone, I have just become the proud owner of a FAC FX IMPACT M3 IN .25 and i am not ashamed to admit that i am a complete newbie to FX rifles and all the tuning options that they offer. For two years i have had a FAC .25 DAYSTATE REDWOLF and that has been a very accurate rifle with very little issues, I mainly used 25.39g jsb kings or 25.4g FX pellets in the Redwolf as these provided the best accuracy giving a average muzzle velocity of 930fps, but i would use 33.95g king heavy and king heavy mk2,s at a slower velocity ( 835fps) BUT i would always go back to using the 25g pellets

My question is now that i have the M3 should i be tuning the rifle to shoot a similar velocity or now that i have all the varied tuning options, should i be aiming for faster or slower than 930fps? are there any other impact owners using the same 25g pellets? obviously its a bit of a "how long is a piece of string question" but just a baseline idea would be appreciated.
Most definitely north of 900 fps.

For my Impact in .25 I started in the 850-ish range and worked my way up, that's also using a STX liner, and it seems to like the 875-ish range shooting a 25gn JSB, 34gn I'll shoot them around 850fps. Your superior liner may like a faster speed above 900fps. Also I'd chrono and see how it shoots as it came, FX gets the settings pretty darn close before they ship a rifle.
