Hi, i have around 30 years experience of shooting and tend to have an alternate view to the majority. I'm left handed and left eyed. I have also lived in Germany for past 10 years and have owned both guns. I still have the Reign and I also have many of the aforementioned "eBay" add-ons......cheek riser, mag holder and cocking lever handle
It is true, the Weihrauch feels a better quality gun, but not by a large margin and its a lot heavier and more expensive. Its noticeably more cumbersome to use all day when using for vermin control. Great for plinking and target work, but heavy going when on a full days vermin control shoot.
The Reign is a 'Marmite' gun, yes it has a plastic stock feel to it, but its very light and well engineered. As a 'lefty', its also easier to modify for left handed use and easier to use in the field. It has great ergonomics for a lefty when setup properly. Hence I sold the Weihrauch and kept the cheaper Walther Reign as in my view, its a reliable, accurate 'goto' option for vermin control with an option for a bit of fun with target work. The Reign is expensive for what it is compared to others, but worth it if you need a left handed well engineered and reliable Bullpup.
