hi been doing some pellet testing with my .177 hw100 got it down between h&n baracuda hunter extreme and jsb heavies both group well jsb heavies might have the slight edge . noticing the grouping as i stretched the distance seemed to be going to the right but still grouping well . very little wind so guessing its more likely scope cant is there any way i can tell if it the scope in slightly crooked or me canting the gun ? thanks in advance for the help
I got one of these and was astonished how badly I was canting.

Really tightened things up. Cheap is fine, I think mine was three quid from China, and I rarely look at it now because I've locked-in a good hold.

quite possibly cant.... best bet, get a level on the gun, get a second ontop of the scope turret and make sure they are both bang on. you'd be amazed how many scopes aren't fitted level even though they look perfectly level.... little things like that can result in what you're explaining.....

that would be my first step.

second get a level fitted to the gun full time, i'd be lost without mine!
