Personal compressor

i would look up hill ec3000, no idea what us prices are.
mine is calibrated wrong, talked to support, and they are gonna fix it. seems like they stand by theire product, huge plus in my book.

I would suggest an extra fan cooling any compressor in hot areas. It has a huge impact on performance and longevity on any highpressure compressor. Thats one of the reasons the large expensive ones have huge fans or watercooling.

I am new to PCP and found out very quickly 72 year olds don't like to hand pump. Even small cylinders like on my FlashPup. Since I was just beginning, only have one PCP at this point, I did not want to spend 600 on a bottle. So I bought a 12/110v compressor that is made for filling bottles up to .5 liter. I have just had it a few weeks but sure works well for me. Will fill my FlashPup from 140 to 200 bar in 1 minute 30 seconds. Only time will tell but at $320 delivered, it was worth taking a chance on. Here's a link:

I agree that the Hill EC3000 has worked very good for me since december. My only problem is getting more of the 2 oils needed to run it so I ordered it from England. It is made to fill gun bottles not big tanks and it fills my daystate pulsar hp 300cc from 150 to 250 bars (3625 psi) so fast that I do not have time to enjoy it doing its job. It is extremely quite and has been trouble free so far. I have heard that a few of the initial units have had some problems that where repaired by the owners.

My Dive centre is only 5 miles away from me but I am fed up with going there every 2 weeks for my 4.5 and 7 litre bottles! so this weekend I received this for £210 Delivered.

So far so good - it filled my Impact from 150 to 250 in a couple of mins.

Just waiting for the bottle adapter to arrive!!



Update- OMG!!! - this compressor is totally awesome - I have used it to take my 7L bottle from 150 to 270 - this took about 15 mins and the pump got very hot so I have doubled the amount of water in my tank and deployed a huge fan on it when in use, its seem to sit on 64deg quite happily. I have also filled a 4.5L bottle from 120 to 240 - this went up fast about 7 mins!

I love it - its taken all of the air anxiety away - It only needs to top my 2 bottles up 12 times before it has paid for it self (compared to the dive shop)

So my plan is to use the small bottle for my dreamline and wildcat and top the bottle back up to 240 when it drops to 220

and use the 7L bottle for my impact - topping it up to 270 when it drops to 240.

Also I noticed that as this little pump fills my bottles slower than the dive shop - the bottles dont get hot - thats got to better for the bottles?

I have the Hill EC3000. It's been a flawless performer filling my and my team's rifles for about 10 months now.
For road use I've gotten my hands on the AirVenturi Nomad 2. Nice so far, but I'll be testing longevity.
