Hi guys, a newbie here just got back into shooting after a lengthy layoff. I have purchased a Gamo Phox Mk2 in .177 caliber . I have replaced the original scope for a Hawke 3×9×50AO and also fitted a bi-pod for good measure. The pellets I'm using are air arms diablo fields 8.44gr, also hades 10.34gr which my Gamo likes the both of. I am a member of a club and at the moment I am shooting at 30m ,getting used to the feel of the trigger and the gun itself. I welcome your thoughts and suggestions on the subject. Thanks , Jt1402
Welcome back to the airgun game, NewGuy,
Depending on how long you've been away you might want to look at some of the new air rifles that have been coming out. Manufacturers have been making entry level units that are really accurate and have features that used to only be included on higher priced guns. (eg, regulators, side levers, etc).
