Has anybody gotten the 25.39gr JSB redesigned pellets in .22 shooting well past 50 yards? They shoot great up to about 50 yards and then seem to destabilize.
I did stop experimenting with these a while back. However I know people have had great success with them. Similar to slugs it seems to be about finding the optimal speed and barrel to match what you need. I think a couple of years ago before plenums and slugs they won a few competitions. However, I never finished my testing, but if memory serves me right they like speed.

You are correct Giles, they do like speed. I have to run them 800 fps or better (900+ best) (in my Artemis M11 that is. They do quite well in my basic (and extremely accurate QB Chief) at 700 - 780 fps, oddly enough. Whatever twist and harmonics are at play.
