Helix zero stop help

when I fit my zero stop I can only rotate the turret 45degrees (don't want to force it)

whats the smeg is going on? (sorry watching old runs of Red Dwarf while typing
Matt did a video on setting the zero stop. Does it only rotate 45 d in both directions? If you remove the zero stop does it do the same thing?

Cheers - this one is a bit embarassing - I had the stop lug on the wrong side - its working properly now - set the stop at 25 yards and see how I get on.
