I’m looking some help/advice regarding the Fx Crown Continuum in laminate forest green, I’m currently in abit of a pickle to put it mildly. As I’m trying to get a Continuum in laminate Forest Green .22 from my local dealer in Northern Ireland, as they are trying to do intermediate with main fx franchise Supplier over on the main Gb. Last week I phoned over to the main land supplier and asked how to go about ordering the above gun in laminate Green. And they said it wasn’t a problem but there’s a 4-5 week back order on the continuum’s which I completely understand. I also understand that as I live in Northern Ireland, we are not allowed two different barrel lengths of the same caliber :( again completely understand that’s why I’m going for the 700mm length. But my point I’m asking is that I’ve seen the continuum’s in all the laminates on the uk site in question and other international sites. But I’m being told by my Northern Ireland dealer they are only available in the synthetic stock and where never available in a laminated stock. That’s what the gb supplier is now telling them.
Sorry for the tongue twister but if I’ve seen it advertised and am putting down £1800 ish for a Fx crown Continuum I would like the one I want.
Could anyone help my enquiry into this as I feel I’m trying to be sold either a synthetic continuum or a older model crown laminate. Any feedback will sincerely be appreciated thank you.

I do think, from what I understand the Continuum is only in the Synthetic. I think maybe someone at the top of the chain may have made a mistake. I get sent catalogues for media, and I only see the Continuum in Synthetic.
I cannot comment on the law of the barrel length, but that does seem strange ( but then some gun laws are strange ) I would have thought 2 barrels in the same calibre would have been fine...but that's just me thinking out loud and not a legal stand point.
I get entirely, your after a Crown Continuum Laminate Green, but they don't have the Continuum in the stock you want.....tricky.....is it worth asking UK to make a swap ( bit extra cash ) , or dropping FX an email and seeing if they have a suggestion.
Sorry no magic wand......;)

The continuum’s where available on sportsmanguncentre the sole uk stockist last week, and on there website. But have been removed but I can’t remember who I was chatting to on the phone but he said it wasn’t a problem getting one in forest green. But there’s a 4-5 week back order but can’t understand what’s been lost in translation both gun dealers. Sure the yellow jacket was the first laminate continuum, and gerhard hunter has a continuum in the grey laminate. Reason is not purely for the laminate even though it’s nicer looking than the synthetic. But it has the adjustable cheek piece, I’ll try contacting smgc again to see if that’s a custom order but they definitely where advertised and do exist. Thanks for the reply

I stand corrected - my catalogue is wrong then......you could always email FX direct - the address is on the website - ask.....that Green does look nice.

Giles ever since I saw you in that bee suit with the yellow jacket continuum, I wished for the forest green or black pepper to be released. Gehard hunter has one, there’s a video dated 17/12/2019 on the airgun101 in Air Hunters section. I’m currently talking with Fx Europe to see what can be done.

Ps thank you for the fast delivery of the baseball cap, 10 pack of fx slugs and cleaning pellets. 3E571763-522D-41A9-ACF8-76024CE37AB4.jpeg

Just an update finally got one ordered in forest green, was a abit of a headache but a thank you Fx Europe for getting involved. Without them I don’t think I was going to get one in Northern Ireland. It felt like I was trying to be pushed into taking a Gen 1 Crown. Hopefully when the Fac department opens up here I can get it onto my license.
