has anyone had issues with the shogun and pellet clipping?

I am using .25 pellets in a .25 Shogun

Thinking about getting a .30 Sumo and hoping for the best but at 180 for the shogun and 150 for the Sumo - its an expensive experiment!!!
Think Donny always recommends going the next calibre up, tolerances are tight. Give him an email - he is super responsive and really helpful. Describe your issue, he will help.

thanks BIg G

I have emailed him last night and got a reply this morning - also called Braces and they are calling me back to p/x it for a .30 Sumo!

Just wondered if there are any known fixes for this?

What great service - Izzy came back to me with a solution that worked for them?

1 move the barrel band from the breech to the front of the bottle
2 get some 30mm heat shrink and use it to secure the barrel band in place,
3 decorate the entire shroud with another layer of heat shrink( repeating step 2 more than once if required to make step three the final snug)

Shame no one has made a bottle/barrel band yet?

On Reflection I didnt fancy my barrel chaffing away on the bottle - so I have designed and printed my own.

loosely based on the tube version clamp - but in PLA so I have made it chunky.

this was version11 and it slips on super snug and makes the barrel feel rock solid

It could be fitted anywere on the bottle - but I like the idea of having it on the end of the bottle, closer to the end of the barrel and offers some protection.

#Giles - let me know if you would like me to post one to you, so you can let me know what you think of it,

Personally I cant believe that FX have made and supplied one.
