I need a new scope. Things I hate about mine...

Very fussy eye box, too far forward it blurs, too far back it tunnels, slighted side movement it shadows and the reticle moves.
Impossible to focus image AND reticle on max zoom. This one won’t work above 7 of 9
Adjust the zoom affects the focus. So your constantly fiddling with the scope.

Seen similar on other scopes. BSA for one. Common problems?

From what I gather a first focal plane scope with adjustable optics zoom would fix most of my issues, but they seem to start above 300 sobs. I was thinking £100 budget would do flor plinking. I’m not a hunter. Or have I just had bad scopes?

Any advise ?
This do you?

I have a Valiant scope from the range above this one and it's brilliant, I got a hundred and fifty notes off the list price which brought it down to £200, but the one I linked to is a complete bargain.at under a hundred.

Thank you David.

I am understanding correctly, then, that once your eye focus is set, and your zeroed obvs, you just move the zoom as required. No fiddling after that. ..?

Yep, no tunnels or anything weird. Plenty of eye relief. I traded up from a cheap Hawke and the difference in light gathering and clarity is amazing, as is the stability of POA when you zoom or change your windage. I'd happily buy another, even without a ton off.

Cyclops Videos Joe Rhea has reviewed a couple and was properly impressed, have a look on the 101 videos.
