Hello Guys,
I am new here in this community,
Just introduce myself.. I am Patrick 61 year of age living in the north part of the netherlands and fanatic on airsoft , pcp rifles and Ducati,s .
I bought a new dreamline.22 for targetshooting at the local shootingclub and for pestcontrol. i am thinking of buying a Barrelband to make sure that the gun is more sturdy while walking in the fields.
is this a good idea or should i just be more careful while walking around....

I can't really offer much input for you other than I notice that FX does make a barrel band. So FX must not have too many concerns about adding one. From a quick Google search, there are a number of threads and postings about using a barrel band or other support on the Dreamline barrels, particularly the longer version.

Thnx flieger67.
I mounted the barrelband from FX and yeah .. just had to zero again but the groupings are as the same as before.

The barrel is now more sturdy while walking around ..

Definitely !!! it will make the rifle feel more solid and there will be less flipping on the barrel so easier to tune - I got rid of my crown as the barrel felt too fragile and my bottle dreamline for the same reason.

so the Wildcat/ Impact and Maverick barrels feel solid by having 2 supports

I even tried making a bottle/barrel support which i have lying around at home now!

Just an fyi. They are easy to 3d print.
I made mine with a picatinny rail, makes for a much better rest than the original point does imo.

If you know somone with a printer, considder it :D

Can be done for bottle guns aswell, allthough you would have to remove it, if you want to change the bottle.
